A creative experience that is integrated and whole.
Studio Swine is a multi-disciplinary design practice by Azusa Murakami and Alexander Groves. Azusa graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Alexander from the Ruskin School of Fine Art Oxford before going on to study MA Design Products at the Royal College of Art where they met and subsequently formed a studio together.
Studio Swine engages in projects that are both socially and ecologically driven but also tap into people's desires, believing that desire is the most powerful catalyst for instigating change and action. Studio Swine has previously worked on projects that investigate systems and processes and this research has culminated in a combination of small-scale architecture, a body of research in the form of books or films, wearable or useable objects and installations. To achieve their target creative experience, Studio Swine collaborates with niche specialists from an eclectic range of disciplines.
